RPM - Early Development Material

These are from the early stages of development of a vehicular combat / racing game tentatively titled "Revolutions per Minute: 360° Vehicular Combat", or "RPM" for short. The project was started in late summer / early fall 2021 and is currently being developed in Unity by a a one-man team. The game's assets are being modeled and textured in Blender, with music planned to be created in LMMS.

Visually, the game is going for a toon/comic style and takes inspiration from games from the sixth generation of consoles such as "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker" and "Super Mario Sunshine" among others. Mechanically, the game aims to merge hero shooters with arcade racers and takes inspiration from "Halo" (in terms of vehicle controls) and "Kirby Air Ride" (in terms of modes). While there are many inspirations for different aspects of this project, the goal is for it to be unlike any game that has ever been developed.

While there are no more details to be shared at this time, additional updates are planned as this project develops.
